The IPS panel holds 178° viewing angles, 300 cd/m², 1500:1 contrast, 115% sRGB and 1.07 billion colours, with 1ms MPRT and HDR Ready. Two HDMI 2.0b inputs and DisplayPort 1.2a all carry WQHD at the full 144Hz, two 2W speakers and a headphone output handle calls, and an internal power board means no adaptor brick. Key Features
WQHD at 144Hz, With FreeSync Across the Range
2560 x 1440 on 27 inches puts 78% more pixels on the desk than Full HD, so two documents sit side by side without shrinking, and every input carries that resolution at the full 144Hz. AMD FreeSync over a 48~144Hz range delivers frames without tearing and 1ms MPRT keeps motion clean, for gaming after hours on the same screen.
IPS Colour, 10-bit Depth and HDR Ready
An IPS panel keeps colour and brightness consistent to the corners and 178° either way, with 300 cd/m², 1500:1 contrast, 115% sRGB and 85% DCI-P3 coverage. 1.07 billion colours (8 bits + FRC) smooth out gradients in photos and video, and HDR Ready adds depth to HDR content.
EyesErgo, Speakers and VESA Mounting
TÜV certified Anti-Flicker and Less Blue Light with Eye-Q Check in the OSD look after your eyes through the day. Two 2W built-in speakers and a headphone output cover calls, the 100 x 100 mm VESA mount takes an MSI Cubi mini PC that MSI Power Link can wake from the monitor's button, the accessory slot keeps cables off the desk, and firmware updates arrive over DisplayPort.
Detailed Specifications
Specifications as published by MSI in the PRO MP275Q E14 datasheet (available below) and on the MSI product and specification pages.
Need-to-Know
- No DisplayPort cable in the box. MSI lists an HDMI cable, a C13 power cord and a quick guide only, and firmware updates run over DisplayPort — so order a DisplayPort cable if that is how you plan to connect or if you want to update the firmware yourself.
- The stand tilts only, from -5° to 20°. For any other adjustment use the 100 x 100 mm VESA mount.
- MSI lists KVM and PIP / PBP as NOT supported. Three machines can share the screen (two on HDMI, one on DisplayPort) by switching source, but a keyboard and mouse will not follow.
- HDR support is listed as HDR Ready. MSI publishes no certified HDR level for this model, so treat it as HDR signal compatibility rather than a certified HDR panel.
- Power is an internal board, so there is no adaptor brick — the C13 cord plugs straight into the monitor.
- 2560 x 1440 at 144Hz is a demanding output for games. A graphics card that runs Full HD comfortably will not necessarily hold high frame rates at WQHD; for office work the resolution is the whole point.
Best For / Customer Benefits
Customer Benefits
- 2560 x 1440 on 27 inches keeps text sharp and fits two documents side by side, where Full HD at this size starts to look soft.
- AMD FreeSync across the full 48-144Hz range keeps motion smooth even when a game's frame rate dips, not just at the top end.
- Two 2W speakers and a headphone output mean a video call needs nothing else on the desk.
- Two HDMI 2.0b inputs and DisplayPort keep a desktop, a laptop and a console all connected without swapping cables.
- An internal power supply means one C13 cord and no adaptor brick under the desk.

Frequently Asked Questions
At 27 inches, Full HD (1920 x 1080) spreads its pixels wide enough that text softens and you can see the grid; 2560 x 1440 puts 78% more pixels on the same panel, so text stays sharp and two full documents or a spreadsheet and a browser fit side by side without scaling. It is the resolution 27 inches was made for, and every input on this monitor carries it at the full 144Hz.
Yes. MSI lists the PRO MP275Q E14 as VESA mountable with a 100 x 100 mm pattern, so it fits standard wall brackets and monitor arms that take that pattern, and MSI suggests wall mounting to keep the desk clear. The stand itself only tilts, from -5° to 20°, so an arm is the way to raise the screen, bring it closer or free up desk space. No bracket or arm comes in the box, which holds an HDMI cable, a C13 power cord and a quick guide.
MSI lists AMD FreeSync with an activated range of 48~144Hz, and both HDMI 2.0b and DisplayPort 1.2a carry 2560 x 1440 at up to 144Hz. Your graphics card and driver settings decide which input negotiates adaptive sync, so enable it in the driver as well as in the monitor's OSD.
MSI lists one HDMI cable (1.4), one power cord (C13) and a quick guide. There is no DisplayPort cable, so order one if DisplayPort is how you plan to connect — you also need it for firmware updates, which run over the DisplayPort connection. There is no power adaptor because the power supply is built into the monitor.
Not with a built-in switch. MSI explicitly lists KVM and PIP / PBP as unsupported on this model. With two HDMI inputs and one DisplayPort you can keep three machines connected and change source in the OSD, but the keyboard and mouse will not follow.
Both are 27-inch IPS business monitors, but the MP273AW is Full HD at 100Hz in white with a VGA input alongside HDMI and DisplayPort; the MP275Q E14 is WQHD at 144Hz in black with AMD FreeSync, HDR Ready, two HDMI 2.0b inputs and 10-bit colour. For sharper text and more workspace the MP275Q E14 is the one; for a VGA-only desktop or a white desk the MP273AW still makes sense.
