Quick Glance
Key Features
144Hz + 1ms MPRT + AMD FreeSync
A 144Hz VA panel paired with AMD FreeSync over a 48~144Hz range, so frames arrive without tearing rather than simply arriving fast, and 1ms MPRT keeps motion clean at the top of that range. The same panel holds a 3500:1 static contrast ratio, which gives dark scenes and dark-mode interfaces real depth next to a typical office IPS, and HDR Ready adds richer colour and contrast to video.
EyesErgo Tech, Your Health Protector
TÜV certified Anti-Flicker and Less Blue Light run in the panel with an anti-glare surface, and Eye-Q Check built into the OSD offers an astigmatism test, an Amsler grid and a posture guide with a prompt to rest. MSI's ergonomic tilt and the 100 x 100 mm VESA mount let you set the screen where all-day work is comfortable.
Updates Itself, Tidies Your Desk
Firmware updates run over the DisplayPort connection whenever MSI releases one, with no service visit. MSI Power Link with HDMI CEC lets the monitor's own button wake a connected Cubi or mini PC mounted on its back, the accessory slot in the stand keeps cables and adapters off the desk, and the Display Kit app adds layouts and colour modes from the desktop.
Detailed Specifications
Specifications as published by MSI in the PRO MP241 E14V datasheet (available below) and on the MSI product and specification pages.
Need-to-Know
- The stand tilts only, from -5° to 20°. For any other adjustment use the 100 x 100 mm VESA mount.
- MSI lists KVM and PIP / PBP as NOT supported on this model. If you need to drive two machines from one screen with a shared keyboard and mouse, this is not the one.
- No built-in audio. MSI records the audio interface as N/A, so route sound through the computer or a separate device.
- MSI marks the C13 power cord as optional in its accessory list, so confirm with us that your unit ships with one before you rely on it.
- HDR support is listed as HDR Ready. MSI publishes no certified HDR level for this model, so treat it as HDR signal compatibility rather than a certified HDR panel.
- This is the black version. The same panel is sold in white as the PRO MP241W E14V, which we also stock — check which finish you are ordering if you are matching existing screens.
Best For / Customer Benefits
Customer Benefits
- AMD FreeSync across the full 48-144Hz range keeps motion smooth even when a game's frame rate dips, not just at the top end.
- A 3500:1 contrast ratio from the VA panel gives dark scenes and dark-mode interfaces real depth, well beyond a typical office IPS panel.
- Firmware updates run over the DisplayPort cable itself, so a driver-level fix does not need a service visit or a USB stick.
- MSI Power Link with HDMI CEC lets the monitor's own power button turn a connected mini PC on and off, one less button to reach for.
- ENERGY STAR certification means lower running costs if it is left on through a long office day.

Frequently Asked Questions
They measure different things. GtG (grey-to-grey) is how fast a pixel changes shade, and MSI lists 4ms. MPRT measures how long a frame is visible to your eye, and backlight strobing can cut it to 1ms. Both figures are real; MPRT is the one marketing leads with.
MSI lists AMD FreeSync with an activated range of 48~144Hz, and both HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2a carry 1920 x 1080 at up to 144Hz. Your graphics card and driver settings decide which input negotiates adaptive sync, so enable it in the driver as well as in the monitor's OSD.
Not with a built-in switch. MSI explicitly lists KVM and PIP / PBP as unsupported on this model. You can plug one machine into HDMI and another into DisplayPort and change source in the OSD, but the keyboard and mouse will not follow.
MSI lists one HDMI 2.0b cable, one power adaptor, one power cord (C13, marked optional) and a quick guide. There is no DisplayPort cable in the box, so order one if DisplayPort is how you plan to connect — you need it for firmware updates too.
Black. MSI's W suffix marks the white finish, so the PRO MP241W E14V is the white version of this same 144Hz panel, and we stock both. The specifications are identical; only the finish differs, so choose by what is already on the desk.
Same 23.8-inch Full HD VA panel size, but the MP2412 runs at 100Hz with Adaptive Sync and has a higher 4000:1 contrast ratio and 300 cd/m² brightness on a 75 x 75 mm mount with HDMI 1.4b. The MP241 E14V runs at 144Hz with AMD FreeSync and HDR Ready on a 100 x 100 mm mount with HDMI 2.0. For office work alone the MP2412 is brighter; for gaming after hours the MP241 E14V is the faster panel.
