21.45-inch FHD 100Hz EyesErgo business monitor
MSI PRO MP223 E2 22" FHD Monitor, 100Hz VA
A compact 21.45-inch Full HD business monitor with a VA panel at 100Hz, 1ms MPRT and a 3000:1 contrast ratio, rated at 250 cd/m² with 99% sRGB coverage. MSI EyesErgo eye care — TÜV certified Anti-Flicker and Less Blue Light on an anti-glare surface, with Eye-Q Check in the OSD — is built for long working days. HDMI 1.4b and DisplayPort 1.2a both carry the full 100Hz, there is a headphone output, the tool-free stand tilts and has an accessory slot in its base, and a 75 x 75 mm VESA mount takes an arm or a mini PC. ENERGY STAR certified.

Key Features
100Hz + 1ms MPRT: Flawless Flow, No More Stutters
A 100Hz refresh rate with 1ms MPRT keeps conference calls, advertising video and scrolling documents smooth where a 60Hz screen judders. MSI points to VESA's own finding that 85Hz is the de facto flicker-free standard for 95% of users, and this panel clears it with room to spare, over HDMI or DisplayPort alike.
EyesErgo Tech, Your Health Protector
TÜV certified Anti-Flicker and Less Blue Light reduce eye fatigue over long hours, and the anti-glare panel cuts reflections so you are not squinting past office lighting. Eye-Q Check lets you self-assess with an astigmatism test, an Amsler grid and a posture guide from the OSD, and reminds you to take a break.
Empower Productivity, Unleash Connectivity
A standard 75 x 75 mm VESA mount, a tool-free tilting stand with an accessory slot in its base, removable cable management and the full set of ports — HDMI, DisplayPort and a headphone output — make it a caring desk assistant rather than just a screen. The MSI Display Kit app adds layouts and colour modes, and the packaging is upcycled in collaboration with #.DAMUR.
Detailed Specifications
Specifications as published by MSI in the PRO MP223 E2 datasheet (available below) and on the MSI product and specification pages.
Need-to-Know
- The panel is 21.45 inches, which MSI rounds to 22 in its marketing. Measure your desk against 494.7 mm of width and 385.5 mm of height with the stand.
- The stand tilts only, from -5° to 20°. For any other adjustment use the 75 x 75 mm VESA mount.
- There is a headphone output but no built-in audio. Plug headphones or powered desk audio into the 3.5 mm jack; the monitor cannot play sound on its own.
- Adaptive-Sync is supported, but MSI publishes no AMD FreeSync or NVIDIA G-SYNC certification for this model.
- MSI marks the C13 power cord as optional in the accessory list, so confirm with us that your unit ships with one before you rely on it.
Best For / Customer Benefits
Customer Benefits
- 100Hz with 1ms MPRT keeps video calls and scrolling smooth on a screen small enough for a reception counter or a shared desk.
- TÜV certified Anti-Flicker and Less Blue Light are built into the panel, so eye care does not depend on a software overlay that washes out colour.
- A headphone output means HDMI or DisplayPort audio can go straight to a headset without a separate cable to the computer.
- The tool-free stand with an accessory slot and removable cable management keeps a small desk tidy from the first day.
- ENERGY STAR certification and upcycled packaging mean lower running costs and less waste for a screen bought in quantity.

Frequently Asked Questions
The panel measures 21.45 inches diagonally, with an active area of 478.656 x 260.28 mm; MSI rounds that to 22 inches in its marketing and on its banners. It is the smallest screen in the PRO MP range we stock, which is exactly the point for a tight desk, a reception counter or a second screen beside a laptop.
Yes. MSI lists both inputs at 1920 x 1080 up to 100Hz — HDMI 1.4b and DisplayPort 1.2a — so either cable gives you the full refresh rate. Set 100Hz in your operating system's display settings after connecting; some systems default to 60Hz until you change it. HDMI CEC is also supported.
It has a 3.5 mm headphone output, so audio carried over HDMI or DisplayPort can be passed to headphones or powered desk audio. It has no sound output of its own, so without something plugged into that jack there is no audio from the monitor.
One HDMI cable (2.0b), one power adaptor, one power cord (C13, marked optional) and a quick guide. There is no DisplayPort cable in the box, so order one if DisplayPort is how you plan to connect. The monitor runs from the external 12V 2.5A adaptor.
A set of self-checks built into the monitor's OSD: an astigmatism test, an Amsler grid and a posture guide, with a prompt to rest for 20 minutes if the lines look uneven or the grid looks distorted. MSI is clear that it is for visual reference only and not a substitute for an eye examination, but it is a useful nudge on a screen that is on all day.
