Logitech Tap IP Network Meeting Room Touch Controller (952-000085) – Graphite
A network-connected touch controller for appliance-based meeting rooms, powered over a single Ethernet cable. Tap IP is built for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android, Zoom Rooms and Google Meet on Android, and Logitech certifies it as the controller for Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini and RoomMate deployments. It is the appliance-room counterpart to the USB-connected Logitech Tap, which is built for a Windows PC instead.
Quick Glance
Key Features
One Ethernet cable, no separate PC
Tap IP is powered and networked over a single Power over Ethernet (PoE, IEEE 802.3af Type 1) cable, so there is no host computer to hide and no second cable run for power. It needs a PoE-enabled network port, or a PoE injector and Ethernet cable, neither of which is supplied in the box.
Built for appliance-based Android rooms
Logitech certifies Tap IP as the touch controller for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android, running on Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini or RoomMate, and for Zoom Rooms on any platform. A 10.1 inch, 400-nit capacitive touch display with an oleophobic coating and an integrated motion sensor gives the same quiet presence as Tap, without the PC.
Managed, secured and independently certified
Tap IP reports into Logitech Sync for fleet-wide firmware and monitoring, encrypts its storage with AES-128 and protects keys with Arm TrustZone, and carries a Kensington lock slot. It has also been independently certified by the Higher Education Technology Managers Alliance (HETMA) for education environments.

- In the Box lists the Tap IP touch controller itself; Logitech does not publish a separate accessory list for this product the way it does for Tap's Cat5e Kit.
Best For / Customer Benefits
Customer Benefits
- One Ethernet cable carries both power and network, so there is no separate power brick or PC to hide in the room.
- Certified for Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini and RoomMate means Tap IP is a known-good pairing rather than a guess.
- Logitech Sync gives one console for firmware and room health across every Tap IP in the building.
- AES-128 encryption, device attestation and a Kensington lock slot mean the controller is protected the same way as the rest of the CollabOS fleet.
- HETMA certification is a specific, independently checked credential for education buyers who need to show compliance.

Frequently Asked Questions
Tap connects over USB and a Cat5e Kit to a Windows PC that runs Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms or Google Meet on ChromeOS. Tap IP is network-connected and powered over Ethernet, with no PC: Logitech certifies it for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android running on Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini or RoomMate, and for Zoom Rooms. Choose Tap IP for an appliance-based Android room, and Tap for a Windows-based one.
Yes, if your network switch does not already supply Power over Ethernet. Tap IP is a IEEE 802.3af Type 1, Class 3 PoE device, and Logitech does not include a PoE injector or Ethernet cable in the box. Tell us your switch setup and we can quote a PoE injector alongside the controller if you need one.
Logitech's own compatibility page lists Tap IP as certified for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android running on Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini or RoomMate, and for Zoom Rooms on any platform. It has also been independently certified by the Higher Education Technology Managers Alliance for higher-education environments.
Yes. Tap IP reports into Logitech Sync, the same cloud console used across Logitech's meeting room devices, so firmware, room status and settings are handled centrally rather than room by room. That is the normal reason to standardise on Tap IP across a multi-room, appliance-based deployment.
Logitech lists Tap IP in Graphite (952-000085) and White (952-000088) at the same specification. This listing is the Graphite unit; tell us if you need White instead and we will confirm current stock before you order.
