Logitech Scribe AI Whiteboard Camera (960-001332) – White

Scribe broadcasts a physical whiteboard into a video meeting with a dedicated, AI-enhanced camera rather than the room's main conference camera. Built-in AI removes the presenter from the shot, sharpens marker colour and contrast, and picks out sticky notes, so remote participants get a clear view of the board. A wireless share button starts sharing with one press, or a room controller like Tap can trigger it, and it integrates with Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows, Zoom Rooms and Google Meet Rooms.

AI keeps the board readable, not the presenter

Presenter Removal gives a transparency effect so remote participants can see through whoever is standing at the board. Content Enhancement automatically boosts the colour and contrast of dry-erase marker strokes, and Sticky Note Detection uses image segmentation to pick out sticky notes as their own content, so nothing gets lost in glare or a bad angle.

One press to share, from the board or the controller

A wireless share button mounted near the board starts sharing the whiteboard into the meeting with one press, no laptop or app required. Sharing can also be started from a meeting room touch controller such as Logitech Tap, and Scribe doubles as a plain USB-connected camera for virtually any video conferencing application.

Enterprise cabling and a clean install

Scribe ships with two 5 m Cat5e cables and an installation kit for wall mounting, with cable retention and routing options up, down or through the wall. Up to 35 m of customer-supplied Cat5e SF/UTP cabling is supported for longer runs, and an optional glass mount and polarizing filter are available for awkward surfaces or bright rooms.

    • Scribe is a dedicated whiteboard camera, not the room's main conference camera - it is bought alongside MeetUp, a Rally system or another room camera, not instead of one.
    • Logitech rates the maximum whiteboard it can capture at 4 ft (1.2 m) high by 5.9 ft (1.8 m) wide; larger boards are not supported.
    • Share button support (starting a share from the button itself) varies by video conferencing provider - Logitech directs buyers to its own compatibility page for the current list.
    • Ships in White only, part 960-001332; the share button is also available separately in white to match, or in the default purple.
    • Remote participants get a clean, AI-enhanced view of the whiteboard instead of a blurry, glare-lit laptop camera shot of it.
    • Presenter Removal means nobody has to step aside for the camera to see what is written on the board.
    • A wireless share button gets the whiteboard into the call in one press, without opening a laptop or hunting for a cable.
    • Up to 35 m of supported Cat5e cabling means the camera can be mounted on the actual whiteboard wall, not wherever the computer happens to sit.
    • Logitech Sync management and AES-128 encryption bring Scribe up to the same fleet-management standard as the rest of a Teams Rooms deployment.
Meeting rooms with a physical whiteboard
    Hybrid brainstorming and design sessions
Rooms already running Tap for one-touch join
    Hybrid classrooms

No. Scribe is a dedicated whiteboard camera that broadcasts a physical whiteboard into the meeting; the room still needs its own conference camera, such as MeetUp or a Rally system, for the people in the room. Scribe can also connect to a laptop as a standalone USB camera if you just want the whiteboard feed on its own.

Press the wireless share button mounted near the board, or start it from a room touch controller such as Logitech Tap. Logitech notes that share-button support varies by video conferencing provider, so it is worth confirming against Logitech's compatibility page for the platform you run before you rely on the button.

Three things: Presenter Removal makes the person standing at the board appear transparent so the writing behind them stays visible, Content Enhancement boosts the colour and contrast of dry-erase marker strokes so they read clearly on camera, and Sticky Note Detection recognises sticky notes as their own content using image segmentation.

The included Cat5e cabling covers 5 m per run out of the box, and Logitech supports customer-supplied Cat5e SF/UTP AWG26 or higher cabling up to a total of 35 m (115.83 ft), so the camera can be mounted on a whiteboard some distance from where the room computer and power injector sit.

Logitech states Scribe integrates with Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows, Google Meet Rooms and Zoom Rooms as a whiteboard content camera, and that it also works as a plain USB-connected camera with virtually any video conferencing application. Check Logitech's own compatibility page for the current certification status before you specify a room.
