Ubiquiti UniFi Switch Pro XG 10 PoE (USW-Pro-XG-10-PoE)
A 1U, professional-grade 10-port, Layer 3 Etherlighting PoE+++ switch with ten 10 GbE and two 10G SFP+ ports. Every RJ45 port supplies up to PoE+++ (802.3bt Type 4, Class 8) at up to 90W, from 400W of total PoE, with 240 Gbps switching capacity. It has a 1.3" touchscreen and is DC power backup ready with the UniFi RPS, and is managed in UniFi Network 9.1.120 and later.
Quick Glance
Key Features
PoE+++ on all ten 10 GbE ports
Every RJ45 port delivers up to PoE+++ (802.3bt Type 4, Class 8), at up to 90W per port, from a shared 400W total PoE budget. The internal 550W AC/DC supply runs from 100–240V AC; maximum power consumption is 65W excluding PoE output and 520W including it.
10 GbE access, 10G SFP+ uplinks and Layer 3
Ten 10 GbE RJ45 ports (10G/5G/2.5G/1G/100M) and two 10G SFP+ ports give 240 Gbps switching capacity, 120 Gbps non-blocking throughput and a 179 Mpps forwarding rate. Layer 3 features include a DHCP server and relay, inter-VLAN routing and up to 256 IPv4 static routes, plus Pro AV profiles for Dante, Q-SYS, NDI and more.
Etherlighting with DC power backup ready
Etherlighting ports illuminate to show port location, speed/link and native VLAN/network, and a 1.3" touchscreen sits on the front. A USP RPS DC input gives DC power backup with the UniFi RPS, with its own RPS LED. The SGCC steel 1U chassis measures 442.4 x 285 x 44 mm and weighs 4.7 kg with mounting brackets.
Detailed Specifications
Specifications are from Ubiquiti's official technical specifications and store listing for the Switch Pro XG 10 PoE (USW-Pro-XG-10-PoE). Total PoE is shared across all PoE ports; per-port maximums apply within the 400W total.
Need-to-Know
- The 400W total PoE is shared across all ten RJ45 ports. Each port can deliver up to 90W, but not all ten at 90W at the same time within that total.
- Ubiquiti lists the RJ45 port speeds as 10G/5G/2.5G/1G/100M; 10M is not listed for these ports.
- DC power backup requires the UniFi RPS, connected through the switch's USP RPS DC input. The RPS is a separate Ubiquiti product.
- For optimal Etherlighting brightness Ubiquiti recommends pairing the switch with UniFi Enterprise Patch Cable. It needs UniFi Network 9.1.120 and later.
- Layer 3 features listed are DHCP server and relay, inter-VLAN routing and static routing (256 IPv4 static routes). Ubiquiti's specification lists no dynamic routing protocol for this switch.
- Ubiquiti rates the ambient operating temperature at -5 to 40° C. Plan rack cooling accordingly in UAE server rooms. Ubiquiti does not state the power cord plug type.
