Ubiquiti UniFi Switch Pro HD 24 PoE (USW-Pro-HD-24-PoE)
The Switch Pro HD 24 PoE is a professional-grade, Layer 3 Etherlighting switch from Ubiquiti. Twenty-two 2.5 GbE and two 10 GbE RJ45 ports all supply PoE++ (up to 64W per port) from 600W of total PoE availability, with four 10G SFP+ ports for uplinks and 230 Gbps switching capacity. It is a 1U rack-mount switch with an internal 660W power supply, DC power backup with a UniFi RPS and a 1.3" touchscreen, managed in UniFi Network 9.0.114 and later.
Quick Glance
Key Features
Multi-gigabit PoE++ on all 24 RJ45 ports
Twenty-two 2.5 GbE and two 10 GbE RJ45 ports all supply PoE++ at up to 64W per port, from 600W of total PoE availability and an internal 660W power supply. That runs multi-gigabit access points, cameras and higher-draw PoE++ devices at more than Gigabit speed from the network cable alone.
Etherlighting port indicators
Etherlighting on the Ethernet and SFP+ ports illuminates to indicate port location, speed/link and native VLAN/network, which speeds up patching and troubleshooting in a busy rack. Ubiquiti recommends pairing it with UniFi Etherlighting Patch Cables for optimal brightness.
Layer 3 with 10G SFP+ uplinks and backup power
Four 10G SFP+ ports, 230 Gbps switching capacity and a 171 Mpps forwarding rate, with a DHCP server and relay, inter-VLAN and static routing (up to 256 IPv4 static routes) and Pro AV profiles for Dante, Q-SYS, NDI and more. DC power backup is ready with a UniFi RPS, which Ubiquiti states is required for it.
Detailed Specifications
Specifications are from Ubiquiti's official tech specs and store listing for the Switch Pro HD 24 PoE (USW-Pro-HD-24-PoE). The 600W total PoE availability is shared across all 24 RJ45 ports. Ubiquiti may update specifications without notice.
Need-to-Know
- All 24 RJ45 ports supply PoE++ at up to 64W each, but the combined draw of all powered devices must stay within the 600W total PoE availability.
- The two 10 GbE RJ45 ports run at 10G/5G/2.5G/1G/100M; Ubiquiti does not list 10M for them. The 2.5 GbE ports run at 2.5G/1G/100M/10M.
- DC power backup requires a UniFi RPS connected to the USP RPS DC input. Ubiquiti does not list the RPS as included.
- The rack depth range is 600 to 1,200 mm - deeper than many compact network cabinets. Check your rack before ordering. Ubiquiti does not state the power cord plug type.
- Layer 3 features listed are DHCP server and relay, inter-VLAN routing and static routing for local networks. Ubiquiti's specification lists no dynamic routing protocol for this switch.
- Ubiquiti rates the ambient operating temperature at -5 to 40° C. Plan rack cooling accordingly in UAE comms rooms.

Frequently Asked Questions
Total PoE availability is 600W. All 24 RJ45 ports supply PoE++ at up to 64W per port, so the combined draw of the connected devices must stay within 600W. The internal power supply is rated at 660W.
Twenty-two 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports (2.5G/1G/100M/10M) and two 10 GbE RJ45 ports (10G/5G/2.5G/1G/100M), all PoE++, plus four 10G SFP+ ports that also run at 1G.
Etherlighting ports illuminate to indicate port location, speed/link and native VLAN/network, on both the Ethernet and SFP+ ports. Ubiquiti recommends UniFi Etherlighting Patch Cables for optimal brightness; they are not listed as included.
It is DC power backup ready. Besides its universal 100–240V AC input it has a USP RPS DC input, and Ubiquiti states that DC backup requires a UniFi RPS. The RPS is not listed as included with the switch.
It is a 1U rack-mount switch, 442 x 400 x 44 mm, for racks with a depth of 600 to 1,200 mm, and weighs 6.3 kg with mounting brackets. It is managed in the UniFi Network application, version 9.0.114 and later.
