Ubiquiti UniFi Switch Pro 24 PoE (USW-Pro-24-POE)
The Switch Pro 24 PoE is a 24-port, Layer 3 switch from Ubiquiti capable of high-power PoE++ output. Sixteen of its Gigabit ports supply PoE+ and eight supply PoE++ (up to 60W per port), from 400W of total PoE availability, with two 10G SFP+ ports for uplinks. It is a 1U rack-mount switch with an internal power supply, DC power backup with a UniFi RPS, a 1.3" touchscreen and near-silent cooling, managed in UniFi Network 5.10.5 and later.
Quick Glance
Key Features
24 PoE ports with a 400W budget
All 24 Gigabit RJ45 ports supply power: sixteen are PoE+ at up to 30W per port and eight are PoE++ at up to 60W per port, from 400W of total PoE availability. That runs access points, cameras, phones and higher-draw PoE++ devices from the network cable, with the 450W power supply built into the switch.
Layer 3 switching with 10G SFP+ uplinks
Two 10G SFP+ ports (10G/1G) link the switch to the core or a gateway. It offers 88 Gbps switching capacity, 44 Gbps non-blocking throughput and a 65 Mpps forwarding rate, with Layer 3 features including a DHCP server and relay, inter-VLAN routing and static routing for local networks, plus Pro AV profiles for Dante, Q-SYS, NDI and more.
Backup-ready, rack-mounted and near-silent
A second DC input accepts power backup from a UniFi RPS, so the switch can stay up if its AC supply fails. The SGCC steel 1U chassis fits racks with 400 to 1,200 mm depth, has a 1.3" touchscreen for at-a-glance status, and Ubiquiti describes its cooling as near-silent.
Detailed Specifications
Specifications are from Ubiquiti's official tech specs and store listing for the Switch Pro 24 PoE (USW-Pro-24-POE). The 400W total PoE availability is shared across all PoE ports. Ubiquiti may update specifications without notice.
Need-to-Know
- All 24 RJ45 ports supply PoE, but not equally: sixteen are PoE+ (up to 30W each) and eight are PoE++ (up to 60W each). The combined draw of all powered devices must stay within the 400W total PoE availability.
- The RJ45 ports are 1 GbE (1G/100M/10M). Ubiquiti lists no multi-gigabit RJ45 port on this model; the two 10G SFP+ ports are the faster links.
- DC power backup needs a UniFi RPS connected to the USP RPS DC input. Ubiquiti does not list the RPS as included.
- Layer 3 features listed are DHCP server and relay, inter-VLAN routing and static routing for local networks. Ubiquiti's specification lists no dynamic routing protocol for this switch.
- Ubiquiti rates the ambient operating temperature at -5 to 40° C. Plan rack ventilation accordingly in UAE comms rooms. Ubiquiti does not state the power cord plug type.

Frequently Asked Questions
Total PoE availability is 400W. Sixteen ports supply PoE+ at up to 30W per port and eight supply PoE++ at up to 60W per port, so the combined draw of the connected devices must stay within 400W. The power supply is internal and rated at 450W.
Twenty-four 1 GbE RJ45 ports (1G/100M/10M), all with PoE - sixteen PoE+ and eight PoE++ - plus two 10G SFP+ ports that also run at 1G. Ubiquiti lists no multi-gigabit RJ45 ports on this model.
Yes. Ubiquiti lists Layer 3 with a DHCP server and DHCP relay, inter-VLAN routing and static routing for local networks. No dynamic routing protocol is listed in Ubiquiti's specification.
It is DC power backup ready. Besides its universal 100–240V AC input, it has a USP RPS DC input for backup power from a UniFi RPS. Ubiquiti does not list the RPS as included with the switch.
It is a 1U rack-mount switch, 442 x 285 x 44 mm, for racks with a depth of 400 to 1,200 mm. It is managed in the UniFi Network application, version 5.10.5 and later, and has a 1.3" touchscreen on the front.
