Ubiquiti UniFi Switch Hi-Capacity Aggregation (USW-Pro-Aggregation)
The Switch Hi-Capacity Aggregation is a 32-port, Layer 3 switch from Ubiquiti made for high-capacity 10G SFP+ and 25G SFP28 connections. Twenty-eight 10G SFP+ ports and four 25G SFP28 ports deliver 760 Gbps of switching capacity, so it can sit at the core of a UniFi network and link access switches, servers and storage. It is a 1U rack-mount switch with an internal power supply, DC power backup with a UniFi RPS and a 1.3" touchscreen.
Quick Glance
Key Features
28 x 10G SFP+ and 4 x 25G SFP28 ports
Twenty-eight 10G SFP+ ports (10G/1G) and four 25G SFP28 ports (25G/10G/1G) give 760 Gbps switching capacity, 380 Gbps non-blocking throughput and a 565 Mpps forwarding rate, with a 32,000-entry MAC address table and a 4 MB packet buffer. That suits aggregating many access switches, servers and storage over fibre or DAC.
Layer 3 features for the network core
Ubiquiti lists Layer 3 with a DHCP server and relay, inter-VLAN routing and static routing for local networks with up to 256 IPv4 static routes, plus up to 1,000 VLANs, LACP, QoS (DSCP), Pro AV profiles for Dante, Q-SYS, NDI and more, 802.1X control and IP- and MAC-based ACLs. It is managed in UniFi Network 6.1.25 and later.
Backup-ready 1U rack chassis
A second DC input accepts power backup from a UniFi RPS alongside the internal 100W AC/DC power supply, so the core can stay up if its AC supply fails. The SGCC steel 1U chassis fits racks with 400 to 1,200 mm depth, and a 1.3" touchscreen shows status at a glance.

Need-to-Know
- Ubiquiti sells this switch as the Switch Hi-Capacity Aggregation; its part number is USW-Pro-Aggregation.
- Ubiquiti's port layout lists SFP+ and SFP28 ports only, and no PoE output. SFP modules or DAC cables are needed to connect devices and are not listed as included.
- DC power backup needs a UniFi RPS connected to the USP RPS DC input. Ubiquiti does not list the RPS as included.
- Layer 3 features listed are DHCP server and relay, inter-VLAN routing and static routing for local networks. Ubiquiti's specification lists no dynamic routing protocol for this switch.
- Ubiquiti rates the ambient operating temperature at -5 to 40° C. Plan rack cooling accordingly in UAE server rooms. Ubiquiti does not state the power cord plug type.
