Ubiquiti UniFi Switch Enterprise Campus 24 PoE (ECS-24-PoE)
An enterprise-grade 24-port, Layer 3 Etherlighting PoE+++ switch built for high availability. Sixteen 10 GbE and eight 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports all deliver PoE+++ at up to 90W per port, with two 25G SFP28 uplinks, 460 Gbps switching capacity, two hot-swappable power supplies and four hot-swappable fans. It is a 1U full-depth rack switch, managed in UniFi Network 9.0.114 and later, and Ubiquiti recommends pairing it with the Enterprise Campus Aggregation.
Quick Glance
Key Features
PoE+++ on all 24 RJ45 ports
Every RJ45 port delivers up to PoE+++ (802.3bt Type 4, Class 8), at up to 90W per port. With the two 600W power modules, total PoE availability is 1,050W in shared mode or 450W in redundant mode at 100-240V AC; with optional 1,200W modules (sold separately) it rises to as much as 2,250W at 200-240V AC.
10 GbE access, 25G SFP28 uplinks and Layer 3
Sixteen 10 GbE and eight 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports plus two 25G SFP28 ports, with 460 Gbps switching capacity, 230 Gbps non-blocking throughput and a 342 Mpps forwarding rate. Layer 3 features include a DHCP server and relay, inter-VLAN routing and up to 512 IPv4 static routes, plus Pro AV profiles for Dante, Q-SYS, NDI and more.
High availability hardware with Etherlighting
Two hot-swappable power supplies and four hot-swappable fan modules running with 3 + 1 redundancy keep the switch up through a component swap. Etherlighting on the Ethernet and SFP28 ports, a 1.3" touchscreen and an SGCC steel 1U full-depth chassis that needs a 4-post rack, or a center-mount bracket or cantilever shelf on 2-post racks.
Detailed Specifications
Specifications are from Ubiquiti's official technical specifications and store listing for the Switch Enterprise Campus 24 PoE (ECS-24-PoE). Total PoE depends on the power modules fitted, the input voltage and whether the supplies run in shared or redundant mode.
Need-to-Know
- Ubiquiti lists the power supply as two hot-swappable 600W modules. With them, total PoE is 1,050W in shared mode or 450W in redundant mode. The higher PoE figures need 1,200W modules, which Ubiquiti states are sold separately.
- The chassis is 1U full-depth: Ubiquiti requires a 4-post rack (post depths 650 to 1,000 mm), or a center-mount bracket or cantilever shelf on 2-post racks, for optimal support.
- Ubiquiti recommends pairing this switch with the Enterprise Campus Aggregation. It needs UniFi Network 9.0.114 and later.
- 10/100M half-duplex is not supported on the RJ45 ports, per Ubiquiti's port layout.
- Layer 3 features listed are DHCP server and relay, inter-VLAN routing and static routing (512 IPv4 static routes). Ubiquiti's specification lists no dynamic routing protocol for this switch.
- Ubiquiti rates the ambient operating temperature at -5 to 40° C. Plan rack cooling accordingly in UAE server rooms. Ubiquiti does not state the power cord plug type.

Frequently Asked Questions
With the two 600W power modules Ubiquiti lists, total PoE availability is 1,050W in shared mode or 450W in redundant mode at 100-240V AC. With two 1,200W modules (sold separately) it is up to 2,250W shared at 200-240V AC, or 1,850W shared at 100-120V AC. Each port delivers up to 90W PoE+++.
Sixteen 10 GbE RJ45 ports and eight 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports, all PoE+++, plus two 25G SFP28 ports that also run at 10G or 1G. The RJ45 ports do not support 10/100M half-duplex.
Yes. Ubiquiti lists Layer 3 with a DHCP server and DHCP relay, inter-VLAN routing and static routing for local networks, with up to 512 IPv4 static routes. No dynamic routing protocol is listed in Ubiquiti's specification.
The switch has two hot-swappable power supplies and four hot-swappable fan modules, which operate with 3 + 1 redundancy. In redundant power mode the total PoE availability is lower: 450W with the 600W modules.
It is a 1U, full-depth rack switch measuring 442.4 x 43.7 x 496 mm. Ubiquiti requires a 4-post rack with post depths from 650 to 1,000 mm, or a center-mount bracket or cantilever shelf on 2-post racks, for optimal support.
