Need-to-Know
- 6 GHz WiFi use is subject to the country's local regulations; Ubiquiti's specification does not say in which countries 6 GHz is enabled. The 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands are not affected by this note.
- Ubiquiti lists a maximum WAN port count of 1: the 10 GbE RJ45 port. Sites with more than one internet line should look at a larger UniFi Cloud Gateway.
- Mesh expansion uses additional nodes, which are sold separately. Ubiquiti states the coverage area of a single UX7 as 160 m² (1,750 ft²).
- Power is USB type C (5V DC/5A) with the adapter included, rated for 100–240V AC. Ubiquiti sells EU and UK versions and does not state the adapter's plug type in its specification; ask us which version is supplied.
- Managing the UX7 needs the UniFi Network application, version 9.0.108 or later.
