UniFi Enterprise WiFi 7 Access Point
Ubiquiti UniFi Access Point E7 (WiFi 7, 10 GbE)
The Ubiquiti E7 is an enterprise-grade indoor access point with 10-stream WiFi 7 performance and 6 GHz support, a 10 GbE uplink and a redundant GbE port for high availability. It covers up to 185 m² (2,000 ft²), handles 1,000+ connected devices, is powered using PoE++ and adds a dedicated spectral analyzer radio for real-time spectral analysis and better channel selection.
Quick Glance
Key Features
10-stream WiFi 7 across three bands
Ten spatial streams: 4 x 4 MU-MIMO on 6 GHz and on 5 GHz, and 2 x 2 on 2.4 GHz. Ubiquiti rates the maximum data rate at 11.4 Gbps on 6 GHz (BW320), 8.6 Gbps on 5 GHz (BW240) and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz (BW40), for 185 m² (2,000 ft²) of coverage and 1,000+ connected devices.
10 GbE uplink plus a redundant GbE port
One 10 GbE RJ45 port and one GbE RJ45 port give power and data redundancy for high availability. The E7 is powered using PoE++, with a maximum power consumption of 43W and a supported voltage range of 42.5–57V DC. It mounts on a ceiling, wall or VESA with the included Pro Mount.
Dedicated spectral analyzer radio
A dedicated spectral analyzer radio runs real-time spectral analysis for enhanced channel selection, alongside Zero-Wait DFS and advanced radio management. Managed in UniFi Network 9.2.87 and later, with band steering, fast roaming (802.11r/k/v), wireless meshing, guest hotspot portals, PPSK, RadSec and RADIUS-assigned VLANs.
Detailed Specifications
All specifications are Ubiquiti's own, from its official tech specs and store pages. 6 GHz operation depends on the country and local regulations; AFC long-range 6 GHz and the 30 dBm Extended Range mode are FCC/IC-region only. Ubiquiti may update specifications without notice.
Need-to-Know
- 6 GHz operation is supported only in the countries Ubiquiti lists, so 6 GHz availability depends on the country and its local regulations. The 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands are not affected by this note.
- AFC long-range 6 GHz performance and the 30 dBm 6 GHz Extended Range mode are available in the FCC/IC region only, according to Ubiquiti. Do not plan a UAE design around them; the standard 6 GHz maximum TX power Ubiquiti lists is 24 dBm.
- The E7 is powered using PoE++. Ubiquiti lists no power adapter for it, so plan a PoE++ switch port or injector for each access point.
- The second (GbE) port provides power and data redundancy for high availability. Ubiquiti does not state how the access point performs when powered from that port alone.
- Managing the E7 needs the UniFi Network application, version 9.2.87 or later.

Frequently Asked Questions
The E7 supports 6 GHz, but Ubiquiti limits 6 GHz operation to the countries on its own supported list, and availability depends on local regulations. AFC long-range 6 GHz and the 30 dBm Extended Range mode are FCC/IC-region features only. Contact us before ordering if 6 GHz is essential; the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands work regardless.
Using PoE++. Ubiquiti gives a maximum power consumption of 43W and a supported voltage range of 42.5–57V DC. No power adapter is listed, so each access point needs a PoE++ switch port or injector.
The E7 has one 10 GbE RJ45 port and one GbE RJ45 port. Ubiquiti describes the pair as providing power and data redundancy for high availability, so the access point can be connected to two switch ports.
Ubiquiti rates one E7 for 1,000+ connected devices and a coverage area of 185 m² (2,000 ft²). Real coverage depends on walls, ceiling height and interference, so larger sites plan several access points managed together in UniFi Network.
Ubiquiti lists ceiling, wall and VESA mounting, with the Pro Mount included, and describes the mounting system as backwards compatible. The access point measures 250 x 250 x 43.5 mm and weighs 1.8 kg.
