    The G3 Starter Kit Pro provides complete entry and exit control for a single door with two readers and Touch Pass support. It contains an Access Door Hub, a G3 Reader Pro with touch display, camera and intercom for the entry side, a G3 Reader for door exit (or entry at an additional door, with a second hub), and two Pocket Keyfobs. The hub powers both readers over PoE from a single PoE++ input and drives the lock from 12V or dry relay terminals.

    Key Features

    The kit contains (1) Door Hub, (1) G3 Reader Pro, (1) G3 Reader and (2) Pocket Keyfobs. Ubiquiti positions the G3 Reader for door exit, or for entry at an additional door when a second hub is added. The hub supports one door and up to 6,000 users, and 10 free Touch Passes are included, each valid for a year.

    G3 Reader Pro entry with face unlock and intercom

    The G3 Reader Pro accepts NFC cards and keyfobs, PIN, face unlock, mobile unlock and Apple/Google Wallet, with two-way intercom and doorbell access. It has a 120 mm (4.7") capacitive touch display, an integrated camera with 2MP video at 30 FPS and an IP55 housing. The G3 Reader adds NFC, Wallet and mobile unlock plus handwave request to exit.

    Door Hub: one PoE++ cable powers the door

    The Door Hub takes one PoE++ input (50V DC, 1A) and has four PoE outputs at 30W per port, 45W aggregated, for the readers. Lock outputs are 12V DC 1A powered or 30V DC 1A dry, with an Aux relay, and inputs cover request to exit, request to enter, remote release and door position. It mounts on a DIN rail, mount included.

    Need-to-Know

    • The Door Hub controls one door. The G3 Reader is meant for door exit; using it for entry at an additional door needs a second hub, which is not in this kit.
    • Ubiquiti's specification does not list the hub as outdoor-rated: it operates from 0 to 40° C. Mount it indoors, for example in a cabinet or ceiling space, and fit the IP55 readers at the door.
    • The hub needs a PoE++ source on its input, which is not included in this kit. The four PoE outputs share a 45W aggregate budget.
    • Ubiquiti publishes a weight for each item in the kit but no total kit weight.
    • The 10 free Touch Passes Ubiquiti includes are each valid for a year.
