UniFi WiFi 7 Access Point, 10 GbE
Ubiquiti UniFi U7 Pro XG WiFi 7 Access Point
The Ubiquiti U7 Pro XG is a ceiling-mounted 6-stream WiFi 7 access point with 6 GHz support and a 10/5/2.5/1 GbE uplink, built for enterprise ceiling deployments. It covers up to 140 m² (1,500 ft²), handles 300+ connected devices and is powered by PoE+ over its 10 GbE RJ45 port. Available in White (U7-Pro-XG) and Black (U7-Pro-XG-B).
Quick Glance
Key Features
6-stream tri-radio WiFi 7 with 320 MHz channels
Tri-radio 2.4/5/6 GHz with 2 x 2 MU-MIMO on each band and support for wider WiFi 7 channels up to 320 MHz. Ubiquiti rates the maximum data rate at 5.8 Gbps on 6 GHz (BW320), 4.3 Gbps on 5 GHz (BW240) and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz (BW40). 6 GHz operation depends on the country.
10 GbE PoE+ uplink for high-capacity backhaul
One 10 GbE RJ45 port supports 10/5/2.5/1 GbE, so the uplink is not the bottleneck on a multi-gig switch. The same port carries PoE+ power, with a maximum power consumption of 22W and a supported voltage range of 42.5-57V DC.
Slim ceiling unit for managed enterprise networks
A ⌀206 x 32.5 mm unit for ceiling or wall mounting with the Lite Mount included, in White or Black. Rated for 300+ connected devices, with up to 8 BSSIDs per radio, wireless meshing, fast roaming (802.11r/k/v), guest hotspot portals, PPSK, RadSec and RADIUS-assigned VLANs.
Detailed Specifications
All specifications are Ubiquiti's own, from its official tech specs and store pages, and apply to both colours. 6 GHz operation depends on the country and local regulations. The Black model needs UniFi Network 9.1.120 and later.
Need-to-Know
The U7 Pro XG comes in two housing colours. Ubiquiti publishes one specification for both; the only stated difference is the minimum UniFi Network version.
- 6 GHz operation is supported only in the countries Ubiquiti lists, so 6 GHz availability depends on the country and its local regulations. The 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands are not affected by this note.
- The Black model (U7-Pro-XG-B) needs UniFi Network version 9.1.120 or later; the White model (U7-Pro-XG) needs version 9.0.114 or later. Check your controller version before installing.
- The U7 Pro XG is powered by PoE+ through its single 10 GbE RJ45 port. Ubiquiti lists no power adapter for it, so plan a PoE+ switch port or a PoE adapter for each access point.
- The 10 GbE uplink runs at 10/5/2.5/1 GbE. Full multi-gig speed needs a matching switch port and cabling.
| Part Number | Colour | UniFi Network Required | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| U7-Pro-XG | White | Version 9.0.114 and later | 750 g (1.7 lb) |
| U7-Pro-XG-B | Black | Version 9.1.120 and later | 750 g (1.7 lb) |
Both colours share Ubiquiti's single published specification table; only the housing colour and the minimum UniFi Network version differ.

Frequently Asked Questions
The U7 Pro XG supports 6 GHz, but Ubiquiti limits 6 GHz operation to the countries on its own supported list, and availability depends on local regulations. Ubiquiti's spec also notes that worldwide operating frequencies depend on the regulatory region. Contact us before ordering if 6 GHz is essential to your design; the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands work regardless.
The headline difference is the uplink: the U7 Pro XG has a 10 GbE RJ45 port supporting 10/5/2.5/1 GbE, for high-capacity backhaul. It is also a slimmer ⌀206 x 32.5 mm unit with the Lite Mount included, and comes in White or Black. Ubiquiti rates it for 140 m² (1,500 ft²), 300+ devices and 6 spatial streams.
U7-Pro-XG is the White model and U7-Pro-XG-B is the Black model. Ubiquiti publishes one specification for both. The only stated difference is the minimum UniFi Network version: 9.0.114 and later for White, 9.1.120 and later for Black.
By PoE+ over its single 10 GbE RJ45 port. Ubiquiti gives a maximum power consumption of 22W and a supported voltage range of 42.5-57V DC. Ubiquiti lists no power adapter in the product, so each access point needs a PoE+ switch port or a separately bought PoE adapter.
