UniFi WiFi 7 Access Point
Ubiquiti UniFi U7 Pro WiFi 7 Access Point
The Ubiquiti U7 Pro is a ceiling-mounted WiFi 7 access point with 6 spatial streams and 6 GHz support, built for demanding, large-scale environments. It covers up to 140 m² (1,500 ft²), handles 300+ connected devices, connects over a 2.5 GbE uplink and is powered by PoE+. Available as a single unit (U7-Pro) or Ubiquiti's own 5-pack (U7-Pro-5).
Quick Glance
Key Features
WiFi 7 across three bands, including 6 GHz
Six spatial streams split as 2 x 2 MU-MIMO on each of the 6 GHz, 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands. Ubiquiti rates the maximum data rate at 5.8 Gbps on 6 GHz (BW320), 4.3 Gbps on 5 GHz (BW240) and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz (BW40). 6 GHz operation depends on the country.
2.5 GbE uplink, powered by PoE+
One 1/2.5 GbE RJ45 port carries both data and power. The U7 Pro runs on PoE+ with a maximum power consumption of 21W and a supported voltage range of 44-57V DC, so a single cable run to the ceiling is all each access point needs.
Built for busy, managed networks
Rated for 300+ connected devices and 140 m² (1,500 ft²) of coverage, with up to 8 BSSIDs per radio. Managed in the UniFi Network application (version 8.0.28 and later), with band steering, fast roaming (802.11r/k/v), wireless meshing, guest hotspot portals, PPSK and RADIUS-assigned VLANs.
Detailed Specifications
All specifications are Ubiquiti's own, from its official tech specs and store pages, and are per access point. 6 GHz operation depends on the country and local regulations. Ubiquiti publishes no separate weight for the 5-pack.
Need-to-Know
The U7 Pro is sold by Ubiquiti as a single unit or as an official 5-pack. The access point is the same in both; only the quantity changes.
- 6 GHz operation is supported only in the countries Ubiquiti lists, so 6 GHz availability depends on the country and its local regulations. The 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands are not affected by this note.
- Ubiquiti states that Multi-Link Operation (MLO) capability is coming soon and will be provided via a software update. It is not a current feature of the U7 Pro.
- The U7 Pro is powered by PoE+ through its single RJ45 port. Ubiquiti lists no power adapter for it, so plan a PoE+ switch port or PoE+ injector for each access point.
- Managing the U7 Pro needs the UniFi Network application, version 8.0.28 or later.
- The 5-pack (U7-Pro-5) is five U7 Pro access points. Ubiquiti publishes no separate weight or contents list for the pack.
| Part Number | Pack | Access Points | Weight Stated by Ubiquiti |
|---|---|---|---|
| U7-Pro | Single | 1 | 680 g (1.5 lb) |
| U7-Pro-5 | 5-Pack | 5 | Not stated for the pack (680 g per unit) |
Every specification on this page is per access point. Ubiquiti publishes no separate weight or contents list for the 5-pack.

Frequently Asked Questions
The U7 Pro supports 6 GHz, but Ubiquiti limits 6 GHz operation to the countries on its own supported list, and availability depends on local regulations. Ubiquiti's spec also notes that worldwide operating frequencies depend on the regulatory region. Contact us before ordering if 6 GHz is essential to your design; the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands work regardless.
By PoE+ over its single 1/2.5 GbE RJ45 port. Ubiquiti gives a maximum power consumption of 21W and a supported voltage range of 44-57V DC. Ubiquiti lists no power adapter for it, so each access point needs a PoE+ switch port or a PoE+ injector.
Ubiquiti rates one U7 Pro for 300+ connected devices and a coverage area of 140 m² (1,500 ft²). Real coverage depends on walls, ceiling height and interference, so larger sites usually plan several access points managed together in UniFi Network.
U7-Pro is a single access point. U7-Pro-5 is Ubiquiti's official 5-pack of the same access point. The specifications are identical per unit; only the quantity in the box changes. Ubiquiti does not publish a separate weight or contents list for the 5-pack.
Yes. Ubiquiti lists ceiling and wall mounting, with the Pro Mount included. The mount is made of stainless steel (SUS304) and galvanized steel (SGCC), and the access point measures ⌀206 x 46 mm.
Not yet. Ubiquiti states that MLO capability is coming soon and will be provided via a software update. Everything else on this product, including WiFi 7 data rates up to 5.8 Gbps on 6 GHz, is available now.
