A Face-ID Main Camera Plus a Package Camera
The 5MP main camera records 1920 x 2560 (3:4) at up to 30 FPS with a field of view of H: 100°, V: 135°, D: 180°, prioritising full person visibility for accurate face identification. An 8MP package camera records 3264 x 2448 (4:3) at 3 FPS, and built-in IR gives night vision up to 5 m (16 ft).
Face, NFC, Wallet and Mobile Unlock
Ubiquiti lists face recognition, face unlock, NFC card and keyfob access, Apple/Google Wallet, mobile unlock and two-way intercom and doorbell access. Door access features need a UniFi Access Hub, with both UniFi Protect and UniFi Access installed on the Cloud Console. 10 free Touch Passes are included, each valid for a year.
Enhanced Two-Way Audio in a Weatherproof Housing
Two-way audio with noise cancellation and beam forming carries the intercom conversation. The aluminium enclosure is rated IP55 and IK07 for indoor and outdoor use from -30 to 50 °C, with a tamper switch, and the reader is powered over a single PoE+ cable to its GbE RJ45 port.

Specifications are as published by Ubiquiti for the Reader G6 Entry (UVC-G6-Entry). An Access Hub and the UniFi Protect and UniFi Access applications are required for door access features and are not part of this product. Ubiquiti may revise specifications without notice.
Need-to-Know
- An Access Hub is not part of this product. Ubiquiti states that door access features such as NFC, Face ID and Interface Designer configuration need an Access Hub (NFC: Access Hub or Hub Mini), with both UniFi Protect and UniFi Access installed on the Cloud Console.
- Ubiquiti's specification for the reader lists no lock output or lock wiring on the reader itself. Ask us to confirm the Access Hub and door hardware for your door before ordering.
- Power is PoE+ at 42—57V DC and 16W maximum. Ubiquiti cautions to use only certified PSUs of the types it lists, and recommends Cat 5e cabling as the minimum category.
- Wall mount, gangbox mount plate and a 20° wedge mount are included. A junction box is optional and is not part of this product.
- This is a door entry reader with integrated cameras, rated IP55 and IK07; the separate G6 surveillance cameras carry different ratings.
