Quick Glance
Key Features
4K Video from a 1/1.8" 8MP Sensor
A 1/1.8" 8MP sensor records 8MP 3864 x 2160 (16:9) video at up to 30 FPS. The fixed focal length lens covers a field of view of 109.9° horizontal, 56.7° vertical and 134.1° diagonal, with HDR, 2DNR, 3DNR and motion-based noise reduction among the image settings.
AI Detection with Face and Plate Recognition
The Multi-TOPS AI Engine and a quad-core Arm Cortex-A53 based chip run smart detections for people, vehicles and animals, plus face recognition and licence plate recognition, so recordings can be searched by what happened rather than scrubbed through by hand.
Tamper-Resistant, All-Weather Turret Housing
An IP66 weatherproof, IK04 tamper-resistant aluminium alloy and polycarbonate housing operates from -30 to 50 °C. 3-axis manual adjustment aims the lens after mounting, built-in IR LED illumination gives night vision up to 30 m (98 ft), and ceiling and wall mounting are included.
Detailed Specifications
Specifications are as published by Ubiquiti for the Camera G6 Turret. This listing is the White version, UVC-G6-Turret-W. The video resolution is shown as Ubiquiti states it (8MP 3864 x 2160). Ubiquiti may revise specifications without notice.
Need-to-Know
- Power is PoE only: Ubiquiti lists a supported voltage range of 37–57V DC and a maximum consumption of 12.5W, so the camera needs a PoE switch port or PoE injector on its cable run.
- The network port is 10/100 MbE RJ45. The camera has a 30 cm (1 ft) pigtail cable ending in an RJ45 connector, with a protective jacket enclosure.
- Ceiling and wall mounting are included. An arm mount, pendant mount and junction box are optional accessories and are not part of this product.
- This listing is the White version (UVC-G6-Turret-W). Ubiquiti also makes the G6 Turret in Black; ask us if you need that colour.
- Ubiquiti's published specification does not state a PoE class or name a recorder or storage requirement. Ask us to confirm the fit with your existing system before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Ubiquiti describes it as an all-weather, tamper-resistant camera, rated IP66 for weatherproofing and IK04 for tamper resistance, with an ambient operating temperature of -30 to 50 °C (-22 to 122 °F) and 0 to 90% noncondensing humidity.
Ubiquiti rates the IR night vision at 30 m (98 ft). Night mode uses built-in IR LED illumination and an IR cut filter, so no separate IR lamp is needed for that range.
By PoE over a single cable to its 10/100 MbE RJ45 port, reached through a 30 cm pigtail with an RJ45 connector. Ubiquiti lists a supported voltage range of 37–57V DC and a maximum power consumption of 12.5W, so plan a PoE switch port or PoE injector for each camera.
The Multi-TOPS AI Engine runs smart detections for people, vehicles and animals, and Ubiquiti lists both face recognition and licence plate recognition as supported, which makes it suitable for entrances, lobbies and car park approaches.
Ceiling and wall mounting are included, with arm, pendant and junction box mounts available as optional accessories. Ubiquiti describes 3-axis manual adjustment, so the lens can be aimed after the base is fixed.
Yes. Ubiquiti lists the camera as NDAA compliant, with CE, FCC and IC certifications. That matters for projects where the client or tender specifies NDAA-compliant surveillance equipment.
