Quick Glance
Key Features
4K Video from a 1/1.8" 8MP Sensor
A 1/1.8" 8MP sensor records 8MP 3840 x 2160 (16:9) video at up to 30 FPS. The fixed focal length lens covers 109.9° horizontal, 56.7° vertical and 134.1° diagonal, with HDR, 2DNR, 3DNR and motion-based noise reduction among the image settings, and a microphone records audio.
AI Detection with Face and Plate Recognition
The Multi-TOPS AI Engine and a quad-core Arm Cortex-A53 based chip run smart detections for people, vehicles and animals, plus face recognition and licence plate recognition, so recordings can be searched by what happened rather than scrubbed through by hand.
Vandal-Proof IK10 Dome for Busy Areas
An aluminium alloy housing rated IK10 for tamper resistance and IP66 for weatherproofing operates from -20 to 50 °C. Built-in IR LED illumination with an IR cut filter gives night vision up to 30 m (98 ft), and ceiling and wall mounting are included.
Detailed Specifications
Specifications are as published by Ubiquiti for the Camera G6 Dome (UVC-G6-Dome-W, White). Ubiquiti may revise specifications without notice.
Need-to-Know
- Power is PoE only: Ubiquiti lists a supported voltage range of 37—57V DC and a maximum consumption of 9.25W, so the camera needs a PoE switch port or PoE injector on its cable run.
- The network port is 10/100 MbE RJ45, per Ubiquiti's specification.
- Ceiling and wall mounting are included. A gang box mounting plate, camera dual mount, flush mount and weather shield are optional accessories and are not part of this product.
- This listing is the White version, UVC-G6-Dome-W. Ubiquiti also sells a Black version under a different part number, which is not this product.
- Ubiquiti's published specification does not state a PoE class or name a recorder or storage requirement. Ask us to confirm the fit with your existing system before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions
IK10 is the tamper-resistance rating Ubiquiti lists for the G6 Dome, which it describes as vandal-proof. Together with the IP66 weatherproofing rating, it suits ceilings and walls within reach in busy public or staff areas.
Yes. Ubiquiti describes it as all-weather, rated IP66, with an ambient operating temperature of -20 to 50 °C (-4 to 122 °F) and 0 to 90% noncondensing humidity. A weather shield is available as an optional accessory.
By PoE over a single cable to its 10/100 MbE RJ45 port. Ubiquiti lists a supported voltage range of 37—57V DC and a maximum power consumption of 9.25W, so plan a PoE switch port or PoE injector for each camera.
The Multi-TOPS AI Engine runs smart detections for people, vehicles and animals, and Ubiquiti lists both face recognition and licence plate recognition as supported, which makes it suitable for entrances, lobbies and car park ramps.
Ubiquiti rates the IR night vision at 30 m (98 ft). Night mode uses built-in IR LED illumination and an IR cut filter, so no separate IR lamp is needed for that range.
