Ubiquiti Camera G6 Bullet 4K PoE Camera
The Ubiquiti Camera G6 Bullet is an all-weather 4K PoE camera built around a 1/1.8" 8MP image sensor and a Multi-TOPS AI Engine. It records 3840 x 2160 at up to 30 FPS, sees up to 30 m in the dark with built-in IR, recognises faces and licence plates, and is rated IP66 and IK04 for outdoor installation. Available in Black and White.
Quick Glance
Key Features
4K Video from a 1/1.8" 8MP Sensor
A 1/1.8" 8MP sensor records 8MP 3840 x 2160 (16:9) video at up to 30 FPS. The fixed focal length lens covers a field of view of 109.9° horizontal, 56.7° vertical and 134.1° diagonal, with HDR, 2DNR, 3DNR and motion-based noise reduction among the image settings.
AI Detection with Face and Plate Recognition
The Multi-TOPS AI Engine and a quad-core Arm Cortex-A53 based chip run smart detections for people, vehicles and animals, plus face recognition and licence plate recognition, so recordings can be searched by what happened rather than scrubbed through by hand.
Built for Outdoor Mounting, Day and Night
An IP66 weatherproof, IK04 tamper-resistant polycarbonate and aluminium alloy housing operates from -20 to 50 °C. Built-in IR LED illumination with an IR cut filter gives night vision up to 30 m (98 ft), and wall, ceiling and pole mounting are included.
Detailed Specifications
Specifications are as published by Ubiquiti for the Camera G6 Bullet and apply to both the Black (UVC-G6-Bullet-B) and White (UVC-G6-Bullet-W) versions. Ubiquiti may revise specifications without notice.
Need-to-Know
The G6 Bullet comes in two housing colours. Ubiquiti publishes one specification for both, so choose by the finish that suits the building.
- Power is PoE only: Ubiquiti lists a supported voltage range of 37–57V DC and a maximum consumption of 9.9W, so the camera needs a PoE switch port or PoE injector on its cable run.
- The network port is 10/100 MbE RJ45, per Ubiquiti's specification.
- Wall, ceiling and pole mounting are included. A junction box and an angled base are optional accessories and are not part of this product.
- The pole mount fits poles of 1.5–2" (38–50 mm) diameter.
- Ubiquiti's published specification does not state a PoE class or name a recorder or storage requirement. Ask us to confirm the fit with your existing system before ordering.
| Part Number | Colour | Resolution | IR Night Vision |
|---|---|---|---|
| UVC-G6-Bullet-B | Black | 4K (8MP) | 30 m (98 ft) |
| UVC-G6-Bullet-W | White | 4K (8MP) | 30 m (98 ft) |
Both colours share Ubiquiti's single published specification table; only the housing colour differs.
Best For / Customer Benefits
Customer Benefits
- 4K 8MP detail from a 1/1.8" sensor makes faces and plates easier to identify in recorded footage.
- Built-in AI for people, vehicle and animal detection cuts down the time spent searching recordings.
- A single PoE cable carries both power and data, which simplifies outdoor cabling.
- Wall, ceiling and pole mounting are included, covering most installations without extra brackets.
- Ask AtomOffice for help planning camera placement and PoE capacity for your site.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Ubiquiti describes it as an all-weather camera, rated IP66 for weatherproofing and IK04 for tamper resistance, with an ambient operating temperature of -20 to 50 °C (-4 to 122 °F) and 0 to 90% noncondensing humidity.
Ubiquiti rates the IR night vision at 30 m (98 ft). Night mode uses built-in IR LED illumination and an IR cut filter, so no separate IR lamp is needed for that range.
By PoE over a single cable to its 10/100 MbE RJ45 port. Ubiquiti lists a supported voltage range of 37–57V DC and a maximum power consumption of 9.9W, so plan a PoE switch port or PoE injector for each camera.
The Multi-TOPS AI Engine runs smart detections for people, vehicles and animals, and Ubiquiti lists both face recognition and licence plate recognition as supported, which makes it suitable for gates, driveways and entrances.
Only the housing colour: UVC-G6-Bullet-B is Black and UVC-G6-Bullet-W is White. Ubiquiti publishes one specification for both, so resolution, night vision, power and mounting are the same.
Yes. Ubiquiti lists the camera as NDAA compliant, with CE, FCC and IC certifications. That matters for projects where the client or tender specifies NDAA-compliant surveillance equipment.
