Quick Glance
Key Features
4K Video with 3x Optical Zoom
A 1/2" 8MP sensor records 8MP 3840 x 2160 (16:9) video at up to 30 FPS. The F 4.1–12.3 mm (ƒ/1.53–ƒ/3.3) motorized zoom lens moves from a wide 109.9° horizontal view to a 35° zoomed view, giving area coverage and detailed close-ups from the same camera.
AI Detections and Long-Range Night Vision
An onboard processor runs person, vehicle and animal detections. Built-in IR LED illumination with an automatic IR-cut filter gives night vision up to 25 m (82 ft), extended to up to 40 m (131 ft) with the optional G5 Pro Enhancer, which also adds a floodlight. An integrated microphone records audio.
Weatherproof for Exposed Outdoor Mounting
The UV stabilized polycarbonate and aluminium alloy housing is rated IP65 and IK04 and operates from -20 to 50 °C. Wall, ceiling and pole mounting are included, the pole mount fits 1.5–2" (38–50 mm) poles, and the camera runs on PoE at 10W maximum (PoE+ when the Enhancer is fitted).
Detailed Specifications
Specifications are as published by Ubiquiti for the Camera G5 Pro (UVC-G5-Pro). Figures marked as with the Enhancer require the optional G5 Pro Enhancer. Ubiquiti may revise specifications without notice.
Need-to-Know
- The G5 Pro Enhancer (UACC-G5-Enhancer, Long-Range IR LED & Floodlight) is an optional accessory and is not included. The 40 m night vision figure applies only with the Enhancer fitted.
- Power: the camera alone runs on PoE at 10W maximum; with the Enhancer fitted Ubiquiti specifies PoE+ and 12.95W maximum, so plan a PoE+ switch port if you intend to add it.
- Ubiquiti notes the Enhancer is compatible with G5 Pro cameras purchased after June 13, 2023.
- Wall, ceiling and pole mounting are included. A junction box and an angled base are optional accessories and are not part of this product.
- Ubiquiti lists the G5 Pro audio as a microphone only, and its published specification does not name a recorder or storage requirement. Ask us to confirm the fit with your existing system before ordering.

The G5 Pro has a motorized F 4.1–12.3 mm lens. At the wide end it covers H 109.9°, V 60°, D 127.7°; zoomed in it narrows to H 35°, V 19.8°, D 40° for detailed close-ups. Being optical zoom, the 4K detail is kept rather than cropped from the image.
Yes. Ubiquiti rates it IP65 and describes it as weatherproof for exposed outdoor installation. The housing is UV stabilized polycarbonate and aluminium alloy, rated IK04, and operates from -20 to 50 °C (-4 to 122 °F).
Ubiquiti rates the built-in IR at 25 m (82 ft). With the optional G5 Pro Enhancer fitted, IR night vision extends up to 40 m (131 ft) and the Enhancer adds an integrated floodlight.
The camera alone runs on PoE over its 10/100 MbE RJ45 port, at 37–57V DC and 10W maximum. With the optional Enhancer, Ubiquiti specifies PoE+ and 12.95W maximum, so choose a PoE+ port if you may add the Enhancer later.
Yes. Ubiquiti lists the camera as NDAA compliant, with CE, FCC and IC certifications. That matters for projects where the client or tender specifies NDAA-compliant surveillance equipment.
