Ubiquiti Camera AI Theta Pro 360° Ceiling Camera Kit
The Ubiquiti Camera AI Theta Pro is a complete ceiling 360° AI Theta system designed to discreetly provide a panoramic view of large, busy spaces. The small Pro 360 Lens is separated from the PoE-powered AI Theta Hub and joined to it by the included cable, so only the lens shows in the ceiling. The kit includes the AI Theta Hub, the Pro 360 Lens, a Standard Flush Mount and a Pro Flush Mount, and supports an optional AI Theta Audio module for two-way audio.
Quick Glance
Key Features
Panoramic Coverage from a Discreet Lens
Ubiquiti describes a 4K (8MP) ultra-wide 360° view from an 8MP 1/1.8" CMOS sensor, with exceptional image quality, superb low-light performance and enhanced dynamic range. The specification gives 4MP 2160 x 2160 (1:1) video at up to 24 FPS and a field of view of 180° horizontal, vertical and diagonal.
Lens Separated from the Hub, Interchangeable
The Pro 360 Lens (⌀36.6 x 58.9 mm) connects to the AI Theta Hub with the included cable, keeping a minimal footprint at the ceiling. The included Pro Flush Mount lets you mount the lens without access to the rear of a ceiling or wall, and the hub supports swappable lens modules to change field of view and focal length.
One PoE Cable, AI Detections, Optional Audio
The hub's GbE PoE-In RJ45 port powers the system and connects it to the network over a single cable (12.5W max). A quad-core Arm Cortex-A53 based chip runs smart detections for people, vehicles and animals, and a Theta Audio Port takes the optional AI Theta Audio module for two-way audio.
Detailed Specifications
Specifications are as published by Ubiquiti for the Camera AI Theta Pro kit (UVC-AI-Theta-Pro). Dimensions and weights are given per component, as Ubiquiti lists them. Ubiquiti may revise specifications without notice.
Need-to-Know
- Face and licence plate recognition need a different lens: Ubiquiti lists both as supported only with the Wide-Angle and Long Distance lenses, and this kit includes the Pro 360 Lens. With the included lens, plan on smart detections for people, vehicles and animals.
- Ubiquiti's figures differ by source: the store calls it 4K (8MP) with a 360° view, while the specification lists 4MP 2160 x 2160 (1:1) video and a 180° field of view on each axis. Both are shown as Ubiquiti publishes them.
- Two-way audio needs the optional AI Theta Audio module, connected to the hub's Theta Audio Port. It is not part of this kit.
- Ubiquiti's specification lists no built-in illuminator and no ingress or tamper rating for this kit; it is described as a ceiling system for large, busy spaces.
- Power is PoE through the hub: Ubiquiti lists a supported voltage range of 37—57V DC and a maximum consumption of 12.5W, so the hub needs a PoE switch port or PoE injector.
