Ubiquiti SFP+ Direct Attach Cable
Ubiquiti 10G Direct Attach Cable (SFP+ to SFP+)
The Ubiquiti 10G Direct Attach Cable is a passive copper cable with an SFP+ connector at each end, for linking two SFP+ ports at 10 Gbps or 1 Gbps without separate optical modules. It is sold as a single unit in three lengths - 0.5 m, 1 m and 3 m - for short runs between switches, gateways and servers in the same rack or the next one.
Quick Glance
Key Features
10 Gbps over SFP+, with 1 Gbps support
Ubiquiti rates the cable for 10 Gbps and 1 Gbps data rates. It has an SFP+ connector at both ends and Ubiquiti lists it as compatible with SFP+ and SFP interfaces, so it can join two 10G ports or run a link at 1 Gbps.
Passive copper, no transceivers needed
The SFP+ connectors are built onto the cable, so a link needs no separate SFP+ modules and no fibre patch leads. Ubiquiti's datasheet lists the cable as passive copper, with a 24 / 30 AWG wire gauge.
Three lengths for in-rack cabling
Choose 0.5 m (1.6 ft), 1 m (3.3 ft) or 3 m (9.8 ft). The black PVC jacket is 4.2 mm across on the 0.5 m and 1 m cables, with a minimum bend radius of 22 mm; the 3 m cable is 6 mm across, with a 32 mm minimum bend radius.
Detailed Specifications
Specifications are from Ubiquiti's technical specifications page and Ubiquiti's direct attach cable datasheet for the 10G Direct Attach Cable. Ubiquiti does not publish a weight for this cable.
Need-to-Know
One cable, three lengths. The 0.5 m and 1 m cables share the same jacket; the 3 m cable has a thicker jacket and a larger minimum bend radius.
- A direct attach cable replaces two SFP+ modules and a patch lead: plug one end into each SFP+ port. Both ports must be SFP+ or SFP cages, not standard copper Ethernet sockets.
- Ubiquiti's spec gives the data rates as 10 Gbps and 1 Gbps. A link runs at a rate both connected ports support.
- Keep bends no tighter than Ubiquiti's minimum bend radius: 22 mm for the 0.5 m and 1 m cables, 32 mm for the 3 m cable.
- Each part number is one cable (Ubiquiti's pack option is Single Unit). Order one cable per link.
| Part Number | Length | Jacket Outer Diameter | Minimum Bend Radius |
|---|---|---|---|
| UACC-DAC-SFP10-0.5M | 0.5 m (1.6 ft) | 4.2 mm (0.17") | 22 mm (0.87") |
| UACC-DAC-SFP10-1M | 1 m (3.3 ft) | 4.2 mm (0.17") | 22 mm (0.87") |
| UACC-DAC-SFP10-3M | 3 m (9.8 ft) | 6 mm (0.24") | 32 mm (1.26") |
Every length supports 10 Gbps and 1 Gbps and is sold as a single unit.
Best For / Customer Benefits
Customer Benefits
- One cable instead of two SFP+ modules and a fibre patch lead for each short link.
- Three lengths, so the run fits the rack without excess cable to coil.
- Runs at 10 Gbps or 1 Gbps and works with SFP+ and SFP ports, per Ubiquiti.
- Supplied with a VAT invoice for business purchasing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Ubiquiti lists supported data rates of 10 Gbps and 1 Gbps. The cable has an SFP+ connector at each end, and Ubiquiti states it is compatible with both SFP+ and SFP interfaces.
The cable comes in 0.5 m (UACC-DAC-SFP10-0.5M), 1 m (UACC-DAC-SFP10-1M) and 3 m (UACC-DAC-SFP10-3M). The 0.5 m and 1 m lengths suit connections within one rack; the 3 m length reaches further, for example to an adjacent rack. Measure the route including bends, keeping to the minimum bend radius.
No. The SFP+ connectors are part of the cable, so it plugs straight into an SFP+ port at each end. Ubiquiti's datasheet describes it as a passive copper cable.
The connectors, data rates, PVC jacket and black colour are the same. The 3 m cable has a thicker jacket (6 mm against 4.2 mm) and a larger minimum bend radius (32 mm against 22 mm) than the 0.5 m and 1 m cables.
