Philips 24E1N1300A / 27E1N1300A — Full HD IPS, USB-C

Philips' 1000 series 24E1N1300A and 27E1N1300A are flat Full HD IPS monitors at up to 100Hz, offered here in two sizes: 24 inches (a 23.8-inch panel) and 27 inches. One USB-C cable carries video (DisplayPort Alt mode), data and up to 65W of power to a compatible notebook, and two USB-A ports turn the monitor into a small hub. Both sizes add HDMI 1.4, two 2 W stereo speakers, an audio output, 1 ms MPRT, Adaptive-Sync, LowBlue Mode and Flicker-free, a tilting stand and a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount.

USB-C with 65W Power Delivery and a USB Hub

Connect your notebook with one USB-C cable: it carries the picture (DisplayPort Alt mode) and data, and charges a compatible device with up to 65W (USB PD 3.0). Two USB-A downstream ports (USB 3.2 Gen 1, one with B.C 1.2 fast charge) take a keyboard, mouse or drive, and cable management keeps the desk tidy.

IPS at 100Hz with 1 ms MPRT

The IPS panel gives 178/178 degree viewing angles with crisp images and vivid colours from almost any angle. The screen refreshes up to 100 times per second, 1 ms MPRT reduces smearing and motion blur, and Adaptive-Sync keeps motion smooth; SmartImage game presets tune the picture for play.

LowBlue Mode, Flicker-free and EasyRead

LowBlue Mode and Flicker-free technology are designed to reduce eye strain and fatigue over long hours at the screen. EasyRead mode gives a paper-like view for text-heavy documents, the anti-glare coating cuts reflections, and the EasySelect menu toggle key makes quick on-screen adjustments.

Specifications as published by Philips for the UAE models 24E1N1300A/89 and 27E1N1300A/89 (Philips PRX product data, philips.ae). Where a figure differs by size, both sizes are listed; where only one size's sheet gives a row, the other is marked not listed. Philips publishes no in-box accessory list for these models.

Two sizes share this page. The panel, resolution, refresh rate, USB-C, HDMI, speakers and stand are identical on both; what changes is the screen area, pixel density, footprint, weight and power draw.

  • The 24-inch model has a 23.8-inch (60.5 cm) visible panel, as Philips specifies it; 24 is the size class.
  • There is no separate DisplayPort socket. Video from a computer comes in over HDMI 1.4 or over USB-C (DisplayPort Alt mode), so a laptop connecting over USB-C needs a USB-C socket that carries video.
  • USB-C power delivery is up to 65W (USB PD 3.0). A notebook that needs more than 65W will charge more slowly or need its own charger as well.
  • The stand tilts from -5 to 20 degrees only. For other adjustments, use the 100 x 100 mm VESA mount with a monitor arm.
  • Philips publishes no in-box accessory list for these models, so we do not claim one. Ask us to confirm the cables supplied before ordering if it matters to your setup.

27"27E1N1300A27 inch / 68.6 cm81.59 PPI617 x 457 x 211 mm4.49 kg

Both sizes are Full HD, so the 24-inch packs its pixels more tightly for a sharper image, while the 27-inch gives larger text and picture from the same sitting distance.

  • One USB-C cable carries picture, data and up to 65W of charging, so a laptop docks in a single step.
  • Two USB-A ports on the monitor keep a keyboard, mouse or drive connected to whichever laptop is plugged in.
  • One model in two sizes lets an office standardise on the same screen, cables and settings.
  • IPS colour at 100Hz with 1 ms MPRT keeps video, scrolling and games smooth.
  • LowBlue Mode, Flicker-free and EasyRead are built in, for comfort through a full working day.

Only the physical size and what follows from it. Both are Full HD 1920 x 1080 IPS panels at up to 100Hz with 300 cd/m² brightness, 1500:1 contrast, 1 ms MPRT, the same USB-C with up to 65W power delivery, HDMI 1.4, two USB-A ports, 2 W x 2 speakers and the same tilting stand. The 24-inch (a 23.8-inch panel) has the higher pixel density at 92.56 PPI; the 27-inch gives a larger picture at 81.59 PPI and is heavier.

Yes, if the USB-C socket on your laptop carries video. Philips specifies USB-C with DisplayPort Alt mode, data and Power Delivery up to 65W (USB PD 3.0), so one cable carries the picture, links the two USB-A ports on the monitor to the laptop, and charges it. Laptops that need more than 65W charge more slowly.

No. The inputs are one HDMI 1.4 and one USB-C, and DisplayPort video runs over the USB-C cable (DisplayPort Alt mode). A desktop graphics card with only DisplayPort outputs needs a DisplayPort to HDMI cable or adaptor.

Yes. Philips lists two 2 W stereo speakers (2 W x 2) and an audio output, so you can use the monitor's own sound or plug in headphones or external speakers. Sound comes over HDMI or USB-C from the computer.

Yes. Both sizes have a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount, which fits standard monitor arms and wall brackets. The included stand tilts from -5 to 20 degrees but does not raise or lower, so an arm is the way to get more adjustment.
