For the HID FARGO DTC1250e, HID states the accepted card size, thickness and construction as CR-80 or CR-79, 9 mil to 40 mil, PVC or polyester cards with a polished PVC finish — the 081754 is CR-80, 30 mil, 100% PVC, so it sits comfortably inside that. Send us a photo of your printer’s model badge on WhatsApp and we will confirm before you order. HID writes this part number with a leading zero, 081754, but you will also see it written 81754 on invoices and supplier quotes — same card either way.

HID lists 081754 in the consumables specification sheets for the DTC1250e, DTC1500, DTC4250e and DTC4500e. HID states more broadly that UltraCard PVC cards are compatible with HID inkjet printers or any brand of direct-to-card (DTC) printer, and also with the HID FARGO INK1000 solvent inkjet and HID ELEMENT UV-cured inkjet — so they are not locked to one machine.

HID also makes a slightly smaller CR-79 card, which is designed to be adhered to the inside edge of a standard CR-80 proximity card rather than printed as a badge in its own right.

HID sells the same 30 mil PVC card with a magnetic stripe under separate part numbers — 081751 with a high-coercivity (2750 Oe) stripe and 081750 with a low-coercivity (300 Oe) stripe. If you need a stripe, order those part numbers instead; ask us and we will source them.
