Quick Glance
Key Features
Standalone network scanning
A built-in network interface (10BASE-T / 100BASE-TX / 1000BASE-T Ethernet, with IPv6 support) puts the DS-730N on the office network without a host PC. One touch sends scans to email, network folders, web folders or FTP, and Epson lists scan to cloud storage. Epson notes some features require Epson software packages.
Up to 40 ppm with paper under control
Scan documents at up to 40 ppm (80 ipm) from the 100-sheet ADF, or switch to slow mode for delicate originals. Ultrasonic sensors and paper protection guard against double feeds and damage, and the feeder takes paper from 27 to 413 g/m², plastic cards, DL envelopes and documents up to 6096 mm long.
Office-ready output, including Word and Excel
Epson lists output to searchable PDF, PDF/A, docx, xlsx and pptx alongside image formats, with barcode recognition, manual and automatic job separation, blank page skipping and A3 stitching. Epson Device Admin, Epson Scan 2, Document Capture Pro and a web browser interface are included.
Detailed Specifications
Specifications are taken from Epson's WorkForce DS-730N product page on epson.ae. Speed, feeder capacity and display size come from Epson's feature copy. Epson's page gives two conflicting daily duty cycles, garbled storage conditions, unitless energy figures and no weight, so none of those is shown. Units for document size, paper weight and operating temperature follow Epson's standard measures where the table gives the figure alone.
Need-to-Know
- Epson's UAE page gives two different daily duty cycle figures for the DS-730N, so none is shown here. Ask us and we will confirm the rated volume with Epson.
- Epson's UAE table lists a built-in Ethernet interface but names no Wi-Fi, so wireless connection is not claimed here.
- Epson notes some features require the use of Epson software packages; push scan and panel lock work with Document Capture Pro solutions.
- Epson's UAE table lists Windows 11 as the compatible operating system, with Document Capture for Mac included; ask us about other systems.
