The feeder takes paper from 27 to 413 g/m², documents up to 304.8 mm wide and up to 5588 mm long, and bound media up to 6 mm thick. Passports can be scanned with the optional passport carrier sheet, at extra cost. An ultrasonic sensor and paper-protection sensors guard originals.
