Detailed Specifications
Specifications are Epson's own, from the Epson UAE product pages for C11CJ48301A1 and C11CJ49302A1. Rows Epson's pages state without a unit or with an internal code (power consumption, sound power, ink tank capacity, paper and rigid board thickness, line accuracy, A1 print speed, roll weight, panel size) are left out rather than guessed.
Need-to-Know
The two models share the same printhead, ink, resolution, speed and paper formats; what separates them is the roll configuration: the SC-P6500E is the single roll version, the SC-P6500DE the dual roll version with an auto take-up reel.
- The SC-P6500E is the single roll version and has no auto take-up reel; the SC-P6500DE is the dual roll version with an auto take-up reel. Everything else on Epson's two specification tables is the same.
- Epson's UAE specification lists only macOS 11 or later under operating systems for both models; ask us to confirm Windows support for your setup.
- The print speed of up to 18 m²/hr is Epson's figure for photo quality; actual speed depends on the print mode and media.
- Epson's UAE pages do not publish either model's weight, interface ports, or units for their power and sound figures, so check with us if you need a specific figure or connection.
- An SSD and a production stacker are optional extras, not standard on either model. The Roll Feed Spindle 24" can also be ordered separately.
