Key Features
Dual lens system for film and photos
The V850 Pro swaps between two lenses: 6400 dpi for slides and film, and 4800 dpi for photos. A Matrix CCD sensor with Micro Lens and High Pass Optics, 48-bit colour input and output and an optical density of 4 Dmax reproduce the tonal range and gradation of the original.
Slides, film, medium format and prints
The transparency unit takes 35mm strip film (3 x 6 frames), 12 35mm slides, one 120/220 medium format frame up to 6 x 20 cm, one 5 x 4 inch frame, and film up to 203 x 254 mm (8 x 10 inch) with the film area guide. Eight film holders come in the box, two sets for each format, to keep scanning moving.
Digital ICE and a one-second warm-up
Digital ICE Technologies clean up old film and photos, with an effective film scanning area of up to 149 x 247 mm (5.9 x 9.74 inches). ReadyScan LED technology with white and IR LEDs gives a one-second warm-up time. SilverFast SE Plus 8 and X-Rite i1 Scanner with IT8 targets are included.
