You can also check the ink or maintenance menu on the printer's display, or look up your printer model in the Compatible Printers tab above. If you are still unsure, send us your printer's model number and we will confirm the right cartridge for you before you order.

The Canon CLI-471 range is designed for the Canon PIXMA MG5740, MG6840, MG7740, TS5040, TS6040, TS8040 and TS9040. If your printer is not listed in the Compatible Printers tab above, this is not the correct cartridge — contact us and we will identify the right one.

Canon quotes this range in 10×15 cm colour photos rather than A4 pages: up to 398 photos from the black tank, 182 from magenta, 173 from cyan and 161 from yellow. Canon states those figures for the PIXMA MG7700 series and notes that actual yield varies considerably with your printer model, what you print and other factors — full-page colour and borderless photo printing use far more ink than plain text. Canon publishes no A4 page-yield figure for these tanks, so none is quoted here.
