It takes roll paper and cut sheet from 152.4 mm up to 1,118 mm (44") wide, at 0.07 mm to 0.8 mm thickness. Maximum roll diameter is 170 mm and the roll core can be 2" or 3". Maximum printable length is 18 m on roll and 1.6 m on cut sheet, and borderless printing is supported on roll media at widths including A1, A0, 24", 36", 42" and 44".

For per-user control, the optional IC card reader holder RA-01 lets you fit a card reader to the printer.
