The CR-150N is the CR-150 with a network port added, for counters that need to share one scanner across several workstations.
- The CR-150N adds a built-in Ethernet port over the USB-only CR-150 — if you only need a single-workstation counter scanner, the CR-150 is the simpler option.
- The ink cartridge for the built-in imprinter is not included with the scanner — Canon's own footnote states it is sold separately.
- Windows only. Canon publishes no macOS driver for the CR-150N, and its Windows driver list names Vista, 7, 8.1 and 10 (plus Server 2008 R2/2012 R2). If you run Windows 11, ask us to confirm current driver support before you order.
- The scanner's own WEB Menu configuration tool is only available when the CR-150N is connected over the LAN, not over USB.
- The magnetic swipe reader is an optional accessory that installs into the scanner body; it is not fitted as standard.
