It uses the Canon Cartridge 075 series — Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow — available in standard yield (Black 1,400 pages; Cyan/Magenta/Yellow 1,300 pages each) and high-yield 075H versions (Black 3,500 pages; Cyan/Magenta/Yellow 2,500 pages each). The printer ships with starter cartridges rated for 700 pages (Black) and 500 pages each (Cyan/Magenta/Yellow).
Both print and copy at up to 25 ppm, but the MF667Cdw adds fax and iFAX, doubles scan speed to up to 100 ipm with 2-sided single-pass ADF scanning, supports Adobe PostScript3 and barcode printing, and carries more built-in fonts (93 PCL + 136 PostScript vs. 45 PCL on the MF664Cdw). The MF664Cdw is the simpler print/copy/scan-only model, with single-pass mono ADF scanning topping out at 50 ipm and no fax.
