Open the toner door on your printer and read the label on the cartridge already fitted — the model number is printed on it. You can also check the supplies or status menu on the printer's control panel, or look up your printer model in the Compatible Printers tab above. If you are still unsure, send us your printer's model number and we will confirm the right cartridge for you before you order.

The Canon 070H is designed for the Canon i-SENSYS LBP243dw, LBP246dw, MF461dw, MF463dw and MF465dw, and Canon also lists it for the II version of each of those models. If your printer is not listed in the Compatible Printers tab above, this is not the correct cartridge — contact us and we will identify the right one.

Canon declares the 070H yield of up to 10,200 pages based on continuous printing of standardised test documents. It is an average figure for comparing cartridges on a like-for-like basis, not a guarantee — documents with heavier text, large solid areas or graphics will use more toner and give fewer pages. The 070 makes more sense for light or occasional printing, where a large cartridge could sit part-used for a long time. Both fit the same printers, so you can switch between them at any time.

Yes. The Canon 070 and Canon 070H are physically interchangeable, and Canon lists both for the same i-SENSYS LBP243dw, LBP246dw, MF461dw, MF463dw and MF465dw printers — the 070H simply contains more toner. You do not need to change any printer setting when you switch.
