255-template memory and a graphic status display
A 320 x 120 dot graphic LCD with backlight shows the printer's status at a glance, and its 6 MB of on-board memory holds up to 255 saved label templates — well over double the QL-800's 99 — so frequently printed labels can be recalled without resending them from a PC each time.

- Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are all built in on this model, but Brother's own specification for the QL-820NWB lists no battery option — treat it as a mains-powered desktop printer only, unless you can confirm otherwise before ordering.
- Black-and-red two-colour printing needs a compatible red/black DK roll loaded. On standard black-on-white DK rolls, only black prints.
- This is a DK-roll printer, not a TZe tape machine — it does not take Brother's P-touch laminated tape cassettes, so existing TZe tape will not fit it.
- Bluetooth here is Classic (SPP, OPP, BIP and HCRP profiles), not Bluetooth Low Energy — check compatibility with your device before relying on a Bluetooth connection.
