A phone-driven P-touch with no keypad of its own: every label is designed in the Pro Label Tool app or in P-touch Editor 6 and sent over Bluetooth or USB-C. It prints genuine TZe tape and Brother's FLe die-cut flag tape up to 36 mm wide at 360 dpi, and is the only machine in this range that takes FLe. The rechargeable Li-ion battery ships in the box, so there is nothing extra to buy before the first label.

Brother's own specification lists FLe tape alongside TZe for this model, and it is the only P-touch in our range that does. FLe is pre-cut, self-laminating flag tape for wrapping around a cable so the printed ends fold back on themselves — a genuine differentiator for cable identification work, not just a wider tape option.
Built to be driven from a phone, not a keypad
There is no physical keyboard and no on-board display — Brother's own specification lists the display as 'Smartphone Only'. Labels are designed in the free Pro Label Tool app over Bluetooth Dual-Mode, or in P-touch Editor 6 on a PC over USB-C, so the design work happens on a screen you already carry.
360 dpi with a battery already in the box
Prints at 360 dpi with a printing width up to 32 mm on 36 mm tape, so small type and barcodes stay sharp. The automatic cutter half-cuts each label, and the rechargeable PA-BT-003 Li-ion battery is included rather than sold separately, so it is ready to print as soon as it is charged.
