A battery-powered handheld for electrical and datacomm work, with six one-touch keys for general, faceplate, cable flag/wrap, punch-down block and patch panel identification. TZe, HGe and HSe — three tape families on one machine
Takes genuine Brother TZe laminated tape (3.5-18 mm), HGe flexible ID tape (6-18 mm) and HSe heat-shrink tube at a 3:1 shrink ratio in 5.2, 9.0 and 11.2 mm. That 3:1 HSe range is a different family from the 2:1 heat-shrink tubes stocked for some other Brother models — check the shrink ratio before ordering tape for this machine.
USB-C or Bluetooth — plus a keypad that works without either
Connects to a PC over USB Type-C or to a phone, tablet or PC over Bluetooth Dual-Mode, with Windows 10 and 11 support confirmed. It still has a full QWERTY keypad and a 3-line display, so it prints standalone on the Li-ion battery with nothing connected at all.

Four handheld P-touch machines built for electricians and datacomm installers, widening in tape size, speed and connection as you go up the range. All print genuine Brother TZe tape; what changes is the maximum width, whether heat-shrink tube is supported, and how you connect.
- This model's HSe heat-shrink tube is a 3:1 shrink-ratio range (5.2 / 9.0 / 11.2 mm). That is a different, incompatible family from a 2:1 HSe tube range — do not order by width alone, check the shrink ratio matches what you need.
- It runs from its own rechargeable Li-ion battery, charged over the included USB-C cable — Brother's specification does not list a separate AC mains adapter for this model.
- USB-C and Bluetooth are for PC, phone and tablet connection; the machine also prints standalone from its own keypad and one-touch keys with nothing connected.
- There is no 24 mm tape option on this model — 18 mm is the maximum across TZe, HGe and HSe. For wider tape, look at the PT-E550WVP in the same range.

The PT-E310BTVP is the only one of the four with a PC or phone connection and the only one with HGe flexible ID tape and a stated HSe width, but its 3:1 heat-shrink range is not interchangeable with a 2:1 HSe range.
