3.5 mm to 18 mm on genuine TZe laminated tape
The PT-D410 takes Brother's genuine TZe tape from 3.5 mm up to 18 mm, printed at 180 dpi and 20 mm per second. Printable lines run from a single line on the narrowest tape up to five lines on 18 mm, so one machine covers a name tag and a multi-line shelf label.
Connects to a PC or Mac over USB
Alongside its own QWERTY keyboard, the PT-D410 takes a direct USB connection to a Windows PC or Mac, so labels can be designed on a bigger screen with the fonts, frames and layouts a computer offers, rather than composed one line at a time on the keypad.
Nine barcode types and 50 stored labels
It prints CODE39, CODE128, EAN-8, EAN-13, ITF 2/5, UPC-A, UPC-E, CODABAR and GS1-128 barcodes, and stores up to 50 label files on the machine — useful for a fixed set of asset tags or bin labels you reprint without redesigning them each time.

Same 18 mm tape, two directions to grow from here: add Bluetooth on the PT-D460BT, or go wider to 24 mm on the PT-D600.
- This model has no Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. USB is the only PC connection — if you need to print from a phone without a cable, look at the PT-D460BT instead.
- The cutter is manual, not automatic — each label is trimmed by hand after printing.
- Battery operation needs 6 AA alkaline or 6 AA Ni-MH batteries, which Brother's specification does not confirm are included in the box. The AC adapter is model AD-E001A.
- Brother's own page does not publish an in-box contents list, an accessory list or an operating temperature for this model.
