The PT-D200 takes Brother's genuine TZe tape in 3.5, 6, 9 and 12 mm widths, printed at 180 dpi and 20 mm per second. It sits at the narrower end of the P-touch range, built for home organising rather than an equipment room — file folders, jars, cables and shelves rather than wide panel labels.
Prints straight from the keypad, no computer needed
There is no USB port and no app to connect: type on the QWERTY keyboard, check the layout on the 15-character display, and print. That makes it a machine you can keep in a kitchen drawer or a hallway cupboard and use in under a minute, with a manual cutter to trim each label as it comes out.
English, Arabic and Farsi keyboard and menus
The keypad and on-screen menus switch between English, Arabic and Farsi, so the same printer works for a mixed household or office without relabelling the keys. Labels can be copied 1 to 9 times at once and mirrored or previewed on the display before they print.

Three keypad P-touch machines and how far each one reaches. All three print genuine TZe laminated tape from a QWERTY keyboard; what changes is tape width, print speed and whether they also connect to a computer.
- This model has no USB, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection. It works only from its own keypad — if you want to design labels on a computer or print from a phone, look at the PT-D410 or a Bluetooth D-series model instead.
- It does not print barcodes. Brother's own specification lists barcode printing as not supported on the PT-D200 — the PT-D410 and later D-series models support nine 1D barcode types.
- The cutter is manual, not automatic — each label is trimmed by hand after printing, unlike the PT-D600 and PT-D610BT.
- Brother's own page does not publish a warranty period or a power source (battery type or AC adapter) for this specific model, unlike the rest of the D-series. Confirm both with us before ordering rather than assuming they match its siblings.
- Multi-block printing is not supported. Copies of one design print 1 to 9 at a time from the keypad instead.
