Line-interactive Smart-UPS SMT units in a 1U or 2U rackmount chassis. Thirteen SKUs cover 750VA to 3kVA: one 1U model at 1500VA and 2U models at every capacity. Each has Automatic Voltage Regulation, pure sine wave output and a multifunction LCD console, and, on the models without a pre-installed network card, APC lists graceful shutdown over serial or USB cables via PowerChute Serial Shutdown. Plain models list an available expansion slot (SmartSlot); C-suffixed models add a SmartConnect Ethernet port for cloud-based monitoring and also list the slot; NC-suffixed models come with a Network Management Card 3 pre-installed instead. Thirteen SKUs share this page across two rack heights and three monitoring levels. Capacity, U-height and whether SmartConnect or a Network Management Card is fitted are what change between them.
- NC-suffixed models come with a Network Management Card 3 pre-installed; APC lists that card in place of the available expansion slot that plain and C-suffixed models show.
- C-suffixed models add a SmartConnect Ethernet port for cloud monitoring (APC notes feature availability varies by terms of use) and also list an available expansion slot.
- 1U is available only as SMT1500RMI1U; every other SKU, including the other 1500VA models, is 2U.
- Replacement battery differs by model: APCRBC123 (750VA), APCRBC132 (SMT1000RMI2U), APCRBC157 (SMT1000RMI2UC), APCRBC88 (SMT1500RMI1U), APCRBC159 (other 1500VA) and RBC43 (2200VA and 3000VA).

Plain and C-suffixed models list an available expansion slot, and APC lists Network Management Card 3 models AP9640, AP9641 and AP9643 as compatible with them. NC models already have the card pre-installed. Tell us your model and we will confirm the right card before you order.
